Well I hate to say this but T-Mobile strikes again! Yes, they have struck again with that double billing crap.
To start, I’ve been pretty suspicious about T-Mobile’s activities lately so I decided not to pay my bill and to skip a month. Since I had a whole bundle of minutes on my TracFone, I decided to use those minutes instead of paying almost $60 for my T-Mobile minutes.
Anywhoo, since I have a monthly plan on my TracFone, I wanted to see what the difference would be in my spending. I must admit that I didn’t talk as much and I didn’t use as much minutes as I normally do on my T-Mobile (flexpay) phone.
Here’s the kicker. This morning I got a text messages from T-Mobile telling me that my current bill was $116.83. What the F&^% is that for? Not believing the test message, I dialed #225# and was told that my balance was $102.65. So I was a little bit shocked that my balance would be so high since I hasn’t used any of T-Mobile’s services since the end of June. I called Customer service to speak with someone about this and after verifying my information, the automated system told me that I owed $65.
HOLD THE PHONE, WE GOT A BIG PROBLEM HERE!
Why did I get three different balances? I don’t know and T-Mobile doesn’t either. I waited on the phone to speak with a representative and then asked for a manager because the person I spoke with wasn’t giving me answers that were in my terms true.
After speaking with a ‘manager’, he couldn’t tell me what the problem was either and basically tried telling me some untruths about my account as well. The guy went as far as telling me that my balance was so high because ‘I’ had made changes to my account when I did no such of thing. Talk about underhandedness.
After my conversation with the ‘manager’ I decided that maybe the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) needs to get involved with this matter because I believe there to be a great error with this crap. I don’t like getting the run around and I surely don’t like being told that I did something when I know I didn’t and you can’t tell me when and what I changed. So I think I need to make a complaint to the FTC and maybe to the BBB as well.
Maybe you guys and girls out there need to tell me your experiences with T-Mobile. If they’re like mine, there might be something bigger going on that would be grounds for a class action ______ . I’m sure you guys and girls know what I’m talking about.
For those of you out there in blog land that have read my previous postings about T-Mobile, you’ll be surprised to know that there’s someone out there in Internet-land named T-Mobile Nate (tmobilenate) trying to discredit all of my posts in regards to T-Mobile. Sounds like they have a front man out on the web trying to stop people from telling the truth about them. Oh well, as long as I can still type, breathe and see, I’m going to keep telling people about my experiences about T-Mobile and any other company I deal with that does anything I feel to be wrong or underhanded.
Until next time guys and girls…
